Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and the LUNA team, who run LUNA. By creating an account or using LUNA, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your information.

1. Who can use LUNA

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is okay with you using LUNA.
• You must tell the truth about your age when we ask.
• You can't use LUNA if we've removed your account before for breaking these terms.

2. Your account

• Keep your password secret, and don't share your account with anyone.
• You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Don't pretend to be someone else, and don't take a @username just to impersonate a person or brand.
• If you think someone else got into your account, change your password and email us.

3. Your content

• You own what you post: your photos, videos, captions, comments and messages.
• To run LUNA, you give us permission to store, copy, show and share your content only in the ways LUNA works: for example, showing your posts on your profile, in Home and in Explore, sending your messages, and showing album photos to the people in the album. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account (see our Privacy Policy for how long deleting takes).
• Only post things you have the right to post. Don't post other people's photos, music or art without permission.
• Ask before posting photos of other people, especially from Night albums. Just because a friend is in an album with you doesn't mean they want their photo on your profile or on other apps.

4. Things you can't do

• Break our Community Guidelines (no bullying, nudity, hate, threats, scams or spam).
• Break the law, or help someone else break it.
• Try to get into accounts or parts of LUNA that aren't yours, or try to get around blocks, the age check or other safety tools.
• Use bots, scrapers or tricks to collect information about other people or to spam them.
• Interfere with how LUNA works, or overload it.

5. Safety tools and what we do

• You can report posts, comments, messages and profiles, and block anyone.
• We review reports and may remove content, limit features, or remove accounts that break these terms or our guidelines. For serious cases (for example, anything that puts a child in danger), we may also contact the authorities.
• We try to be fair, but we can't check everything that's posted, and we're not responsible for what other users post.

6. Night albums and sharing outside LUNA

• Night album photos are only shown to the people in the album, and they're deleted 30 days after the album develops. Save the ones you want to keep.
• When you save or share pictures to other apps (like Instagram), those apps' own rules and privacy policies apply. Pictures you share may include a small "LUNA" mark.

7. Ending

• You can stop using LUNA and delete your account any time (☰ menu → Delete account). You'll have 30 days to change your mind.
• We may suspend or remove your account if you break these terms, or if we have to for legal or safety reasons.

8. LUNA is provided "as is"

LUNA is a young app, made with care, but we can't promise it will always work perfectly, be available all the time, or never lose anything. Please keep your own copies of photos that matter to you. As far as the law allows, the LUNA team isn't responsible for losses that come from using LUNA, or from things other users post or do.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as LUNA grows. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app about big changes. If you keep using LUNA after that, it means you accept the new terms.

10. The law that applies

These terms follow the laws of Pakistan.
